BAWSO works for promotion of human rights, women, youth, culture, education, and handcraft as well as wants a sustainable development in Afghanistan. These are the goals which are inter-linked and support each other. For sustainable development BAWSO follows an integrated approach and undertakes projects and activities that is directed towards empowering the poor with special emphasis on skill training for target groups in target areas. BAWSO seeks the full application of international human rights standards in Afghanistan by educating the public in human rights and monitoring the improvement of the human rights situation in the country in an Islamic way. BAWSO is committed to mobilization and maximum use of local resources. Meanwhile BAWSO tries to attract the attention of donor organizations and communities to Afghanistan by informing them about the suffering and misery of Afghan women, and youth.
